It was a momentous day for Indian Dota as one of the longest standing records was shattered as Signify lost to Reckoning Esports in the semifinal of the ESL India Premiership - Summer Season Finale. For nearly two years, the team has been unbeaten in Indian LANs and no team has come close to beating them. However, 5 boys from Myanmar were able to achieve the feat as they took down Signify 2-1. The loss is particularly impressive as this was Signify's last tournament together since their management has decided to part ways with the roster.

With 5 ESL Premiership titles to their name, Signify were the clear favorites coming into the LAN and the hype surrounding them was even more as it was the last time they would be playing under the Signify tag. Unfortunately for the team, their journey came to an early end as Reckoning got the best of them in the series. With Insane's Meepo getting the win for Reckoning in game 1, BlizzarD's unstoppable Lifestealer was able to tie up the series for Signify in game 2. In the decider, Reckoning's last pick Broodmother caught Signify offguard and they were unable to adjust to a Broodmother strat.

With this, Signify's unbeaten streak in Indian LANs comes to an end as does their journey as an organization. It will be a bitter ending to a highly successful 2 years in the Indian circuit. But much props to Reckoning Esports and they will move onto the finals with confidence after having taken down the behemoth of Indian Dota.

Entity Gaming and Reckoning Esports now face off for a shot at the title with the finals kicking off later today!
