Tejas ‘Ace’ Sawant (Team XCN) has announced that he won't be joining Team Invictus as the Indian representatives at the IeSF World Championship 2018 on account of having contracted Chicken Pox.

According to a post made by ESFI , Ishpreet 'HuNtR' Singht will be playing in his stead.

The IeSF World Championship 2018 is scheduled to commence on 9th November 2018 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and members of Team Invictus are due to attend it as the Indian representatives at this tournament.

Invictus qualified for the main event after winning the National Esports Championship 2018 conducted earlier this August.

Ace who currently plays for XCN, an Indonesian organization was a former Invictus player who replaced Sahil 'Pashasahil' Pasha in the roster that competed at NESC 2018, likely due to the single nationality rule that would prevent him from competing with the other Indonesian members of his current team.

The current roster that is set to represent India at the IeSF World Championship 2018 is :

  • Bharath 'ribbiZ' Reddy
  • Manan 'Manan' Bhatt
  • Shailesh 'blackhawk' Dalvi
  • Faizan 'BinaryBUG' Farooquia
  • Ishpreet 'HuNtR' Singh

At the time of writing this, the official roster on the IeSF website has not been updated to reflect HuNtR's inclusion in the team.
