Team Secret second team to be invited to PVP Esports Championship

The PVP Esports Championship which will be held at the Suntec Convention Centre in Singapore announced the second team to be invited to the 300,000$ event. Team Secret will be the second big name to be attending the event, joining TI8 runners-up PSG.LGD.

The event, which is to be held from the 5th to the 7th of October now features two top teams which will surely get the crowd going. Another team is expected to join these two along with teams from each qualifier. Currently, SaveBuybackPlz from Australia and Signify from India have already qualified for the event. The Philippines, Singapore and Thailand qualifiers are still underway.

The tournament will be organized by MET and will be one of the two premier Dota 2 events in the SEA in the upcoming months. The second one is obviously the Kuala Lumpur Major which will be the first Major for the new DPC season and will be held in November.

The PVP Esports Championship will feature a mix of local SEA teams and top international teams and top talent such as Sheever, ODPixel, Fogged, GranDGrant, Capitalist as well as Kyle will also be in attendance.

Currently, the Team Secret roster hasn’t been fully announced with Puppey, Midone and Yapzor being the 3 players who are part of it. While it isn’t confirmed, the word on the street is that Zai will be joining the team as their offlaner while highly rated Polish player, 17-year-old Nisha will also join as the team’s new carry player. Either way, it will be the team’s first LAN appearance with their new squad.
