Indonesian side, BOOM ID, who were the SEA representatives for the last 3 Minors were eliminated in last place at the SEA quals earlier today. Consecutive losses to both teams from the Open Qualifiers, Mineski and Adroit, sealed their fate. This effectively puts them out of running for any sort of invite to TI9 but their efforts over the season have probably landed them a spot in the SEA qualifiers for TI9.

Mineski dominant in SEA quals

Mineski seem to have brushed off their poor form from the EPICENTER qualifiers as they made short work of their opponents in today's games. They played 2 bo3’s and 2 easy 2-0’s means that they are in the grand finals of the SEA qualifiers. All their wins came before the 30-minute mark, with both BOOM ID and Power of MYSG+AU falling in the wayside, in front of Mineski’s might.

Mineski still have a small chance of making it to TI9 directly, but they will have to place top 2 at the Minor and then make a deep run at the Major to have a chance. Their journey will be a long one, but it all depends on whether they can win in the grand finals.

In the lower bracket, Team Adroit and Power of MYSG+AU face off for a spot in the grand finals against Mineski. Both matches will take place on the 24th.
