SEA representatives, Mineski who have been surpassing all expectations in the Dreamleague: Season 11 Major have finally been knocked down to the Lower Brackets after a Somnus?M-less PSG.LGD knocked them down with a fantastic performance in the first round of the Upper Brackets in Stockholm.
Mineski’s run in the Group Stages which included wins against Virtus.Pro and EHOME, gave fans some hope when they went up against PSG.LGD in their Winner Bracket match. But PSG.LGD proved to be too big of a hurdle to overcome. Here’s how their match went down.
Game 1: PSG.LGD picked an aggressive, lane-dominating, heavy-push oriented lineup to punish Mineski’s static lanes and got themselves off to an early lead. They managed to pick up two early Roshans and easily took a straightforward Game 1 victory. Fy was the MVP of this matchup, as he completely decimated Mineski with his support Pangolier.
Game 2: PSG.LGD went for Ame’s Phantom Assassin backed up by Fy’s Magnus. Although Mineski managed to get themselves off to a much better start, Fy managed to land some clutch RPs to reverse the momentum, allowing Ame to amass a massive advantage and dismantle Mineski over the course of the game.
Mineski have now been knocked down to the Lower Brackets, where they’ll face off against J.Storm in a BO3 series later on 18th March. A win there will secure a Top 8 placement for Mineski in the Dreamleague: Season 11 Major.
