The ex-offlaner of Fnatic, Khoo "Ohaiyo" Chong Xin, has broken his silence on the controversial roster-swap which saw him being replaced with NA offlaner, Sahil “Universe” Arora.

In a blog post on Facebook, Ohaiyo speaks about how his removal from the Fnatic Squad was “sad and cruel” and that he found out about his expulsion only “after winning TNC and qualified to ESL One Katowice Major Main Event.”.

Ohaiyo claims that the Fnatic management and some of the players kept Universe’s move to Malaysia under the wraps until the very end. He alleges that they resorted to making the NA offlaner stay at EternalEnvy’s house for a few days, in order to keep Ohaiyo in the dark.

He suggests that they should have replaced him as soon Universe got there but not after they won the ESL One Katowice Qualifier. He also thinks that they probably kept it as a secret, so as to not tilt him in the middle of the qualifiers. He adds that “they should not be qualified for this major event by using those gimmick.”

Ohaiyo concludes his post by saying that he is disappointed by the Fnatic Organization and the Players for “using someone’s effort just for their own benefit” and that “A lie with a purpose is one of the worst kinds.”
While this was quite a dismal statement from Ohaiyo, the SEA Dota community needs to remember that this is just one side of the story and should wait for EternalEnvy’s side before bringing out the pitchforks.
