The invites for the Regional Qualifiers for ESL One Mumbai have been revealed and comprises of few tier 1 and mostly tier 2 teams. Each region will have 2 invited teams and 2 teams from the open qualifier and only 1 will qualify for the main event.

The following list of teams have been invited as per the region:

North America: Team Team, J.Storm

Europe/CIS: Na’Vi, Alliance

SEA: TNC, Lotac

China: Keen Gaming, Royal Never Give Up

India: Signify, ROG Titans

Most of the teams are actively competing in the current DPC season with J.Storm and Alliance both having played in both the Kuala Lumpur and the Chongqing Major. But the lack of tier 1 teams is evident; but it is to be expected, given that 7 teams will be directly invited. The fate of teams in the upcoming qualifiers for the Starladder Minor and the Dreamleague Stockholm Major is certainly going to influence the list of invites for Mumbai.

The Open Qualifiers will conclude on the 31st of January while the Regional Qualifiers kick off towards the end of February. As usual, we will be bringing you all the updates and announcements in the run-up to the event.
