The Grand Finale of Toyota Master Bangkok 2018 took place today with B.O.O.T-d[S] going up against MVP  PK in a BO3 series.

MVP PK defeated OpTic India in the semifinals yesterday to face-off against B.O.O.T-d[S], who moved into the finals by defeating TNC Pro Team, Lucid Dream and Boom ID.

Final Showdown

Match-1

The first match between the two sides took place on Mirage where MVP PK dominated their opponents by winning the match with a score of ‘16-7’

The first half witnessed MVP winning nine rounds playing CT-sided while the remaining six were muscled out by B.O.O.T-d[S] but the second half was a disaster for B.O.O.T as MVP shut them down in an overwhelming manner, giving away just a single round before ending the match in the 23rd round.

Match-2

The second match between MVP PK and B.O.O.T-d[S] took place on Nuke where the Koreans again thundered past their opponents with the scores similar to that of the last match.

The first half was closely contested by both the teams as they went neck-to-neck, taking advantage of any mistake that the opponent was careless enough to commit, but again MVP came out on top at halftime with a single round lead. The second half started and ended with MVP winning all the rounds not giving away a single round to B.O.O.T-d[S].

With this, MVP PK won the Toyota Master Bangkok 2018 – SEA Qualifier and will be moving onto the main event to face off against the other qualified teams along with the invited once, to compete for the $100,000 USD prize pool.
