Mammoth Gaming have announced a brand new Indian CS:GO roster featuring known names from around the country. Since Indian orgs like ETG and Signify started recruiting players from beyond our borders, many Indian players were left teamless. The Mammoth Gaming lineup features players who have at times been some of the best in the country and many have been former teammates.
Leading from the front will be one of the countries deadliest fraggers, Ayush ‘Astarr’ Deora. The ex-Brutality player has been on the sidelines for a while now and despite putting up impressive numbers in his matches, has largely been teamless for much of 2018. He is also a co-owner of the team and will be managing their day to day activities. Joining him is his former teammate from the Brutality days, Varun ‘spy’ Mehta. Also in the lineup is Ishpreet ‘Hunter’ Singh, a player who has impressed on more than one occasion especially with his AWP and ability to call the shots and he will be a key player in this team.
The last two players in the teams are Sahil ‘pashasahil’ Pasha and Shailesh ‘blackhawk’ Dalvi, two young players who have also been around the circuit and have shown potential in lineups such as D2D and Invictus. Overall the squad looks to be a good mix of players who have shown consistency and talent across the years and tournaments in India. But whether the lineup has the firepower to challenge the likes of ETG and an even more impressive looking Signify remains to be seen.
"The csgo squad is a great pickup for the org. A perfect mix of established players with young upcoming Indian talent. We at mammoth are eagerly awaiting the upcoming counter strike season." - Sahil 'DK' Kakar (co-owner)
