How to play Artifact on your phone?

If you just hopped on into the Artifact hype train but you've been thinking to yourself, "This is great, but I wish I could keep playing this game while I am sinking the Turdtanic" well today is your lucky day! Now you too can play Valve’s latest instalment in your mobile.

Here's how.

This uses a lot of bandwidth, so I don't recommend it for connections with FUP limitations. However, it works pretty well which speaks for the potential of Artifact’s interface when it is eventually released on mobile.
  1. Have Artifact ready and installed on your PC.

  2. Install Google Chrome if you don’t have it already.

  3. Install Chrome Remote Desktop from the Chrome Webstore.

  4. Install the Chrome Remote Desktop app for Android or iOS

  5. Control your PC using your Phone, open up Artifact.

  6. Play Artifact on your phone!

There are two mouse modes for the phone app, mouse and touch mode. I prefer the touch mode most of the time, but the mouse mode is occasionally useful for more precise clicking. You can switch modes by hitting the button at the upper right when you scroll down from the top of your screen.

TL;DR: Run it on your Windows PC and stream to your phone using Chrome Remote Desktop.
