Experience at Gear Up Gaming Cafe

I played alongside Crowley, Noddy, Monty and A-35 in team 'Criminal Gaming' for this one (*cough freeload cough*) and I've got to admit, this was one of the most well managed tournaments I've had the pleasure of attending. It's rare to witness / be a part of a Dota 2 tournament in India that starts at 11 a.m. and winds up by 8 p.m. on the same day - although that could be attributed to the fact that only eight teams participated.

Games started on time, the admins were prompt and precise with their communication and the wait time between matches wasn't absurdly long. All participants were given a rule sheet, a tournament flier and pizza hut food coupons worth INR 105 per person that could be redeemed for a pizza + coke meal. NVIDIA GTX 960 Cup t-shirts were up for grabs for those that answered questions correctly.

The computers experienced occassional spikes and fps drops at the lowest graphical settings and the lack of HD monitors was a bit of a buzzkill however none of these count as deal breakers in what turned out to be quite a fun and glitch free event.
