GG.Bet Summer Asia: GOSU breezes through the Upper Bracket Finals

Today the upper bracket finals of GG.Bet Summer Asia witnessed action between GOSU & B.O.O.T-d[S] as the two teams engaged in a BO3 series with the winner moving onto the grand finals while the loser slips down to the lower bracket, facing CyberZen as their opponent.

GOSU v/s B.O.O.T-d[S] 

The first match took place on Mirage with GOSU starting off in a dominant manner, winning the first 7 rounds in a row. B.O.O.T-d[S] did bring them to a halt in the 8th round but that is all they could muster till the halftime mark which saw GOSU lead by a score of ‘14-1’. 

B.O.O.T-d[S] came out strong in the latter half winning 4 consecutive rounds but GOSU stopped them successfully, reaching their map point and followed it up with another round to win the first match quite easily with a score of ‘16-5’

The second match witnessed the two teams fight it out on Inferno. This time around the pistol round was won by B.O.O.T-d[S] but GOSU levelled it up in the next round. The following eight rounds were split evenly between them but GOSU somehow managed to take a small lead of three rounds by halftime bringing the score to ‘9-6’. 

GOSU continued to build on their lead post-halftime stringing 4 rounds in succession only to be stopped by B.O.O.T-d[S] in the 20th round but this wasn’t enough as GOSU won their remaining three rounds and took the second match as well with a score of ‘16-7’

Winning the BO3 series with a score of ‘2-0’ GOSU qualify for the grand final whereas B.O.O.T-d[S] drop down to the lower bracket to face CyberZen.
