Fnatic and western players Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao, Johan "pieliedie" Åström, and Saahil “Universe” Arora have mutually agreed to part ways, according to an announcement made by the team earlier yesterday.
The storied organization attempted to renew its roster after a rough placing in The International 2017 by picking up Western players EternaLEnVy, and Pieliedie. Since then, the squad has gone through several roster changes, including the addition of Universe and Abed, but the year has been shaky.
This season, Fnatic ended up finishing in 12th place in the Dota Pro Circuit and missing out on a TI8 invite, but recovered and finished on top of the SEA regional qualifiers to book a place at The International 8. But in Vancouver, Fnatic didn’t manage to find a single win in the Mainstage bowing out with a disappointing 16th place finish.
"Playing in SEA and with Fnatic has been a great and important experience.” Stated EternaLEnVy in the team’s announcement. “It was my first time outside of Toronto, my first time living in a team house - all in the region of the most passionate Dota. Our end result is disappointing and not what we aimed to accomplished. But I hope what I brought to Fnatic, and SEA as a whole, in my time here will prove useful in the team's future. As we now part ways, I can only hope we meet once again on the battlefield. Thank you and good bye."
Fnatic also announced that they will be retaining Abed “Abed” Yusop and Djardel "DJ" Mampusti for the following season.

These are some of the most radical changes the Fnatic’s roster has undergone in nearly a year, and should absolutely pique any fans’ curiosity for their new roster’s announcement. Fnatic will likely be announcing their new roster shortly.
