The SEA stalwarts, Fnatic have finally completed their new roster as they prepare to make a run back to the peak of professional Dota 2 this season.

Fnatic announced today that they have filled out their roster with the addition of three new players: Daryl “iceiceice” Koh, Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong, and Pyo “MP” No-a.

The acquisition of Jabz and iceiceice is an especially important one for Fnatic, as Jabz will immediately take over as the team’s captain, while iceiceice is one of the most experienced veterans in the SEA scene. While Jabz’s strategies will go a long way in shaping the future of the new Fnatic roster and it is iceiceice’s presence that makes this team the strongest in SEA (on paper). Iceiceice has only failed to qualify for TI once, and is perhaps the most decorated SEA player in Dota 2 history. His experience will be quite crucial for Fnatic in the biggest stages.

DJ, who will be playing under the Fnatic organization for the third year in a row, expressed confidence in the move in a statement released by the team.

“I am very excited to welcome iceiceice, jabz and MP into the team. Myself, Abed and Eric talked to iceiceice and jabz during TI and we believe that we will synergise well to become a strong team”. He said. “A few names were thrown around for our last member. But, in the end, we decided to go with MP and thinks that he would work out best with us. I hope we can go further than we have ever been with this current line up.”

Fnatic’s first showing with their new roster will be at the Kuala Lumpur Major - SEA Regional Qualifiers which kicks off on 17th September 2018.
