Mineski have parted ways with their support duo of  Johan ‘pieliedie’ Åström and Yongmin ‘Febby’ Kim, the team announced earlier today.

“It has been a pleasure to have Febby and pie on our roster, they both brought great energy and maturity, and helped build a great environment for the team which was important for our recent qualification to the major” Zak ‘Dash’ Holman, Mineski General Manager wrote in their farewell post. “They will both definitely be missed!”

Taking a break at the start of the season and missing out on the Kuala Lumpur Major, PieLieDie joined Mineski just before the Chongqing Major SEA Qualifiers. Following his addition to the lineup, Mineski’s performance rose dramatically—the team made it to the Dreamleague: Season 11 Major and eventually finished in 12th Place.

Febby has been a part of the Mineski organisation since the start of the season. While he had a slow start to the season, his performances have improved dramatically over the past month. So it is a surprise to see him depart from Mineski.

The players who remain on Mineski’s team at this time include:

  • Lai "Ahjit" Jay Son

  • Kam "Moon" Boon Seng

  • Damien "kpii" Chok
