The second last game of the day witnessed two giants in the competitive CS scene fighting it out to save themselves from facing an eliminator match-up.

Na'Vi took on Faze in the second round of the Faceit Major New Legends Stage as both the teams lost their last round matches against Astralis and BIG, respectively.

The two played each other in a BO1 on Overpass with the loser dropping down to play in an eliminator match tomorrow.

Na'Vi vs Faze

The pistol round went the way of Faze on the CT-side as they moved ahead to win a couple of rounds more taking an early lead. Na'Vi put themselves on the board by winning the fourth round but Faze struck back with a hattrick to extendi their lead. The next two rounds were equal exchanges as Na'Vi fought hard to win three in a row but could not deliver more as they lost the remaining three rounds left in the first half.

The second half started with Faze winning the second pistol round but a determined Na'Vi worked in complete sync as they executed some great plays from the CT-side, winning seven rounds in succession after which Faze did stop them for a single round only to witness Na'Vi walking away with the match after going on another four-round streak.

Na'Vi won the match 16-12 and stays afloat somewhere in the middle as Faze drops down to the low group facing an elimination match against Mousesports tomorrow.
