Energy Esports invited to the PLG Grand Slam 2018

Another team has received a direct invite for PLG Grand Slam 2018. The eleventh team confirmed for the event due to take place in Abu Dhabi is the South African team eNergy Esports.

Based on recent performances, eNergy Esports is among the best CS:GO teams that the South African region has to offer.  

They were the winners of the ESL African Championship – Season 2 after being the runners-up in the first season. They also won the Vodacom 4U Cup which was held earlier this year and their most recent achievement was placing first at the recently concluded Evetech Champions League 2018 – Season 1.

eNergy Esports' line-up is as follows:

  • Rieghardt ‘flexeeee’ Romatzki 

  • Trevor ‘kaNibalistic’ Morley 

  • Robby ‘bLacKpoisoN’ da Loca 

  • Gareth ‘MisteM’ Ries

With eNergy occupying the 11th slot within the Main Event, there are only 5 more slots left to be filled. 3 of which will be taken by directly invited teams with 2 slots remaining for the team making it through the European and the Oceania Qualifier.
