The Champions of the Bucharest Minor 2019 have finally been crowned. EHOME beat Gambit Esports 3-1 in Sunday's final to win The Bucharest Minor 2019, the 2nd minor of the 2018-19 Dota Pro Circuit.

With the victory, EHOME secure the final spot in the Chongqing Major, the 2nd Major of the season, which kicks off on 19th January 2019 (Saturday).

The Road to the Finals

EHOME were extremely dominant in their Championship winning run, only dropping a single game (in the Grand Finals). They started off their journey by topping Group B, after which they took down Keen Gaming and Gambit Esports in the playoffs to secure a spot in the Grand Finals.

On the other side, Gambit Esports were almost as dominant as EHOME in Group A and only dropped a single game up until the Winner Bracket Finals. However, they lost two extremely tight games to EHOME and dropped down to the Lower Bracket Finals.

There took down Keen Gaming 2-0 with some clutch plays and got themselves into the Grand Finals with relative ease. They also had some help with RNGesus as well.

The Grand Finals

EHOME dominated with Huskar to open the best-of-five finals, but Gambit Esports rallied to even the match 1-1 with an outdraft. The Russian side picked up a Meepo centric lineup in Game 3, but a few crucial pick-offs by EHOME snowballed them into a 2-1 victory, putting them within touching distance of claiming the series

EHOME built a commanding lead and were able to close out the victory in Game 5, and secured $125,000 of the $300,000 prize pool as well as 120 DPC points.
