Global Esports had a rough start today at the COBX Masters against B.O.O.T-d[S]. The Singaporean team started on the CT side of Dust2, and went on to demolish Global eSports in the first half. GE was left gasping for air as their opponents left them with no map room to breathe on. Exceptional flanks and great individual performances let splashske and co. get a phenomenal 12-3 lead in the first half.

GE seemed to be plagued with issues. Antidote failed to show up. He did not have a single frag till the 9th round. They also made some questionable decisions regarding utility, especially smokes. We saw some instances where they pushed through the smokes and got lost in it. There were several rounds where B.O.O.T-d[S] took eco rounds against them.

The second half gave us a glimmer of hope as GE started to string together a few rounds. Kamil took over the role of the sniper in place of Antidote and started getting opening kills, which had a great impact. Just when the Indian squad started to wriggle their way back into the game, great clutches from d4v4i and benkai gave the Singaporean squad the few rounds they needed.

The final nail in the coffin was the 1vs2 clutch from splashske. He finished it in style with the final score of 16-9.

Global eSports will face Grayhound Gaming from Australia tomorrow. This match will determine whether or not they continue their journey in this tournament.
