The former Signify coach, Shenal “AB” Daniel and former NiP/Mineski coach Aaron “Clairvoyance” Kim has been picked up by BOOM ID, the organization announced via Facebook earlier today.
Heading into The International 9: SEA Regional Qualifiers as one of the favourites to book their place in the biggest Dota 2 tournament of the year, the team had to find a few reasonable additions to their team give them their much-needed oomph. So they've reinforced their lineup with some of the most experienced coaches in scene.
Shenal “AB” Daniel will be BOOM ID's coach/analyst, while Aaron “Clairvoyance” Kim will serve as their head coach for The International 9.
Earlier this season, Clairvoyance parted ways with NiP in May 2019, after disagreements regarding payments. With him at the helm, NiP was able to win the DotaPIT Minor 2019 to qualify for the MDL Disneyland Major.
AB is best known to have coached Signify and the old WG.Unity team featuring the likes of xNova, AhFu, Moon and Ahjit. It will be interesting to see how the pair work together and whether they can push on and make it to the International 9.
BOOM ID will kick-off their journey in The International 9: SEA Regional Qualifiers tomorrow.
