Indian representatives, Team Signify have been eliminated from the Acer Predator League 2019 LAN finals after 2 straight losses on Day 1. Losses to both Geek Fam and then Lotac means that their journey in Bangkok has come to an end.

Their run started in the upper bracket against Geek Fam, who have looked quite out of form after recent roster changes. However, with experienced names likes Alacrity and kYxY in the mix, Geek Fam were able to make a comeback despite losing the first game and took the series 2-1.

This put Signify in a tough spot as they had to go up against Lotac, who have been consistently playing in the SEA Regionals and have had some decent results. With high profile names like Skemberlu and Raven, Lotac were easily able to wipe out Signify 2-0, eliminating them from the competition.

Elsewhere in the upper bracket, Geek Fam, Alpha Red, TNC and yG have all moved into the semifinals where their matches are currently underway.

It’s yet another disappointing run at an international LAN for Signify, who despite being the best in the country have suffered in LANs outside. While they did show glimmers of hope at the PvP Esports Championship in Singapore in 2018, they have very little to show when it comes to facing off against SEA opposition.
