He has done it again. Abed “Abed” Azel L. Yusop who was the first ever player to hit 10k MMR before the Valve introduced the Medal system has managed to do the impossible and has reached 10,000 MMR points once again.

He is the first ever 10k MMR player under Valve’s new Medal system. He has achieved this feat in the SEA servers.

Before Valve introduced the Medal system, Abed was one of the only 4 players (Abed, Midone, Ramzes666 and Arteezy) to breach the 10k MMR mark.

After the new ranked system was introduced, many considered the 10k MMR mark to be unreachable. They believed that the MMR reset that occurs every six months would dissuade players from ever reaching that mark. But Abed has proven all the doubters wrong with this incredible achievement.

It will be interesting to see if any other player can replicate this in any other server.
