As first reported by Escorenews.com, the team managed to regain its original tag back in the Dota 2 client on 19th Sept but at the time it was not sure as it could be an oversight by Valve.

Following the confirmation, the organization also commented to Escorenews that its roster “can and will compete exclusively under the Virtus.Pro tag after the confirmation".

Virtus.Pro was forced to compete under a neutral name, Outsiders, after the beginning of the Ukraine-Russia conflict as the team’s ownership group had ties to companies sanctioned by the EU and US.

However, the organization recently announced that it had an overhaul in terms of management, as Virtus.Pro announced its newest CEO, Aram Karamanukyan on Twitter and its official website.

For now, Virtus.Pro will be competing under its original tag for the upcoming TI11 Last Chance Qualifiers in Group B alongside Infamous, T1, Team Liquid, Wildcard Gaming and Xtreme Gaming.
