Wild Rift Rise Against Ruin Event: Acquire Limited-Time Collectibles

A new mini-event has been released in League of Legends Wild Rift called ‘Rise Against Ruin’. The new event is taking place to welcome the official launch of Riot Games’ new turn-based RPG game “Ruined King: A League of Legends Story.” The Wild Rift Rise Against Ruin event rewards players with a limited-time profile icon and a Homeguard trail effect. The Rise Against Ruin event is very straightforward and simple. Players will only need to play at least one of the main protagonists of the new RPG game Ruined King: A League of Legends Story in order to complete the mission and collect all the rewards.

How to get the new “Trail of Ruin” Homeguard Trail Effect in the Wild Rift Rise Against Ruin Mini-Event

The new event will start from 17th November and will last until 23rd November 2021. However, Riot Games specified that the dates and times mentioned may be subject to change. It is best to refer to the in-game schedule for the most accurate information.

The mission for the Rise Against Ruin event requires players to play only one game as one of the champions - Ahri, Miss Fortune, Yasuo, or Braum or players can team up with other folks playing as these champions. Upon completion players will receive the “Ruined King” icon and the “Trail of Ruin” Homeguard Trail Effect.

Players should take note that the Homeguard Trail Effect acquired from the event is only temporary and will disappear after 24th Nov 2021.

The event will only be available for specific regions due to the age rating of the Ruined King: A League of Legends Story RPG game. Players from regions that are not part of the event will receive the limited-time icon in the near future. However, Riot Games is yet to reveal the exact date.

What is the Ruined King: A League of Legends Story RPG game

The Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is a turn-based single-player RPG game. The game is made by the popular indie developer, Airship Syndicate, in partnership with Riot Games and led by comic book artist Joe Madureira (Joe Mad). Airship Syndicate and Joe Madureira are known for games like Battle Chasers and Darksiders.

The story revolves around the adventures of the five champions Illaoi, Pyke, Ahri, Miss Fortune, Yasuo, and Braum as they protect Bilgewater, a lively yet dangerous port city surrounded by vicious monsters, gangs, and smugglers from all over the land of Runeterra. The bustling port city is slowly being engulfed by the toxic mist and it is up to the main protagonists to defend the port and end the wrath of the Ruined King.

The game is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and Microsoft Windows.
