Tournament organizer, Villager Esports, has announced Winter Masters Season 2 with New State Mobile as the competing title, featuring a total prize pool of INR 2,00,000 ($2,416 USD) and some of the best teams from across the country.

This is a complete event, providing underdog teams a chance to go up against top-tier teams and prove their talent, which is why it runs for a period of more than two weeks from 15th Feb to 3rd March.

The tournament has been divided into four stages - Open Qualifiers, League Gateway, League Phase, and Grand Finals, with the number of participants decreasing with each passing stage.

This tournament starts as a grassroots-level competition and then quickly transforms into a top-tier New State Mobile event. Spread across a total of 17 days, the four stage event will conclude on 3rd March.

A total of eight teams made their way through the Open Qualifier, joining the 24 directly invited teams in the League Gateway.

The tournament has been divided into four different parts,

Format

  1. The tournament started with two rounds of Open Qualifiers through which a total of eight teams were shortlisted to join the direct invites.

  2. Next stage, League Gateway, comprised of 24 direct invites and eight qualified teams, divided into four groups of eights teams each.

  3. After three days of intense action, where six maps were played on each day, the top 24 teams moved on to the League Phase.

  4. League Phase will go on for six days with six matches being played on each and every day. The top 16 teams proceed ahead to the Grand Finals.

  5. The last three days will witness the finalists brawl it out across a total of 18 maps to crown its champion.
