MPL Invitational (MPLI) 2022: Teams, Schedule, Results, and More Details

The MPLI 2022 will kick off on 2nd November and shall go on till 6th November.
The tournament will feature 20 of the top-performing MPL teams from the SEA region competing for the lion's share of the $100,000 USD prize pool.
The Captain's Draft will start on 28th October.

The ONE Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Invitational (MPLI) 2022 will commence on 2nd November. The annual tournament will take place over four days and will boast a massive $100,000 USD prize pool. Twenty of Southeast Asia's (SEA) finest MPL teams have been invited to participate in the tournament to compete for the championship title. The first round of the competition will be decided by Captain's Draft picks. The draft order will be decided by a lottery-style draw. The MPLI 2022 will be broadcasted live through various streaming platforms with a variety of languages and commentators for fans to enjoy.

Format and Schedule

Captain’s Draft (28th October)

A Captain's Draft system will be used to set the first-round bracket. The four MPL Champions from Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore will be divided into four groups and will select their opponents by drawing teams into brackets. The draft order will be determined by a lottery-style draw. Once the order is determined, the Captain's Draft will proceed in a snake format (i.e., 1, 2, 3, 4, 3, 2, 1) until all teams have been selected.

The Captain's Draft will take place on 28th October at 7:00 PM (GMT+8).

Playoffs (2nd - 6th November)

  • Matches will be played in a Single Elimination format

  • All Matches will be in a Bo3 series with the exception of the Grand Final

  • Grand Finals match will be played in a Bo5 series
