The Wild Rift SEA Icon Series: Preseason has been announced. It will be the first official tournament for the popular Mobile MOBA hosted by Riot Games. The Wild Rift SEA Icon Series: Preseason will be a five weekend-long regional tournament across seven location-specific tournament circuits, where teams will battle it out for the title of local champions. After the preseason, teams in each region will have a chance to participate in the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series: Summer Season. In this eight-week-long tournament, teams from across the region will compete to prove they are the best in their local region and proceed to the pan-regional tournament.

The Wild Rift SEA Icon Series: Preseason will kick off on Feb. 26, 2021. The three-day-long weekend tournaments for the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore will feature exciting entertainment and action-packed events for each region coming from Riot Games’ regional esports partners.

The Wild Rift SEA Icon Series: Preseason will also feature popular professional esports teams from across Southeast Asia. These are the following teams that are confirmed to make an appearance in the tournament;
