SouL have announced the signing of a new player for the roster and it is a player known as Blaezi. Varad Kadtan, aka Blaezi was a member of Zero Degree Esports, which took part in the PMCO Fall South Asia finals. The team was eventually picked up by Marcos Gaming. More recently Blaezi was part of Godx, who reached the semifinal stage of the PUBG Mobile India Series 2020.

The addition of Blaezi means that SouL now have a 5 man roster:
Naman ‘Mortal’ Mathur
Yash ‘Viper’ Soni
Parv ‘ReGaLToS’ Singh
Dhruv ‘Sangwan’ Sangwan
Varad ‘Blaezi’ Kaptan
The team’s original 5th member, Aman left the squad and is currently with TSM-Entity as a substitute for the World League. His play style did not match with that of SouL’s and as a result, he will be trying to play competitively from a different roster. Sangwan too was with Element Esports for PMIS 2020, but has returned to SouL.
After having represented India internationally in both PMCO Spring and Fall, SouL were considered one of the top teams in the Indian region. However, they had a bad run at the recently concluded PUBG Mobile Pro League South Asia and were unable to qualify to the World League. Soon after, the team announced that they would go on a break to work on their mistakes.
Blaezi’s addition to the squad will be good news for fans as he is one of the young talents in the country. With three veterans in Viper, MortaL and Sangwan there to guide him, it will be interesting to see how he develops as a player.
