After several weeks of continued silence, following its exit from the OMEGA League, Evil Geniuses has finally commented on its Dota 2 roster. CIS Offlane player, RAMZES666 has been made inactive by the NA team.
Details about who will replace RAMZES666 in the main roster is not yet known. The announcement also states that further updates on the EG roster will be announced in the coming weeks.
So everything seems to indicate that in the next few weeks, Evil Geniuses would be picking up a new offlaner. Perhaps they are waiting for further information about the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) to make an informed decision.
For the time being, and until the new Evil Geniuses offlaner is confirmed, the EG lineup will be:
There are several talented and experienced offlaners in the market who would fit EG. Some of the Tier 1 free agents that EG might consider are: Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang, Carlo “Kuku” Palad, Roman "Resolut1on" Fominok, Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov.
When an esports player is made Inactive (or Non-Active), it means that he is officially no longer part of the playing roster of the team. But, he is still part of the organization and, if he wishes to join another team, the other team will have to pay a transfer fee to sign the player.
However, if the organization wishes, the player can be loaned or play as a stand-in for another organization temporarily.
Over the last few weeks, there have been rumors of a potential All-Star team that would see RAMZES666, Solo, No[o]ne, and SumaiL team-up. Several developments have increased the likelihood of this rumour being true.
