B8 Esports Offlaner LastHero Arrested For Peacefully Protesting

B8 Esports offlaner Oleg "LastHero" Demidovich has been arrested during the peaceful protests against police brutality and the allegedly rigged elections in Belarus.

According to LastHero’s teammate, Dmitriy "Fishman" Polishchuk (who is also a Belarusian player), LastHero was sent to Zhodzina (a City in Belarus), where the temporary detention center is located.

Earlier yesterday, a match between Team Empire and B8 Esports in the OMEGA League: Europe Divine Division was postponed due to the protests in Belarus.

On August 10th, B8 Esports had to play with stand-ins in an OMEGA League match against Cyberium Seed, since the Belarus government shut down internet services across the country due to the protests.

Authorities in Belarus have stated that they have arrested more than 6,000 people during three nights of violently suppressed protests against police brutality and alleged vote-rigging in the country’s presidential election.
