Alliance Loda: “Proving people wrong is hell of a drug”

Alliance’s CEO Jonathan "Loda" Berg recently went on Twitter and made a heartfelt statement about his accomplishments in the Dota 2 sphere. He talked about what has motivated him throughout his esports career.

He stated that his primary motivation was proving people wrong.

Loda’s gaming career started way back in 2006 with Warcraft 3 DotA. He was one of the best players in the world and was even christened as the ‘L-God’ by the Dota community back in those days.

Although he didn’t find too much success with Dota 2 initially, playing without much success, in teams like Counter Logic Gaming and Team Zenith, he formed No TideHunter alongside Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao which would later become the Alliance with whom he won The International 3.

Loda has since retired from playing professionally and is now the CEO of the Alliance organization.
