American esports organization FaZe Clan observed an early exit from ESL One: Cologne 2020 Europe - Online following a ‘2-0’ defeat against Vitality yesterday. FaZe did put up a tough fight with their new lineup comprising of the Danish rifler Markus “Kjaerbye” Kjaerbye, but despite giving it their best shot the team came across bitter remarks from fans and community members alike. Nikola "NiKo" Kova? did not take this outburst lightly as he gave a crisp reply to all the haters, standing up for both his team and Kjaerbye.

NiKo Raises His Voice Against The Haters

The in-game leader of FaZe Clan NiKo took to Twitter right after getting eliminated from ESL One Cologne 2020 to defend both his team and Kjaerbye from all the trolls and haters, who were calling them out for their poor performance and the organization’s decision to sign the Danish rifler instead of a proper IGL.

Responding to these people NiKo stated that the team had practiced for just 5 days together and still they nearly won against the second-best team in the world (Vitality) who had been boot camping for over 2 weeks.

“Give us some time to work on our mistakes before judging, we are doing everything we can to improve asap.”

FaZe Clan had an overall rough time at this particular tournament, they lost their first series against the danish underdogs Heroic. This was followed by a close game against possibly the weakest team in the competition MIBR and though they did have a close series against Vitality, FaZe were not particularly playing good which is how their coach Janko “YNk” Paunovi? also felt.

FaZe Clan will be seen in action once again after a few weeks at the ESL Pro League Season 12: Europe where they have been placed in Group-B along with other powerhouses such as Astralis, Vitality, Complexity, and more.
