Valve Releases Half-Life Themed Bonus CS:GO Content

Valve keeps its promise by dropping some exciting Half-Life themed Stickers, Pins, and Patches for CS:GO alongside the release of Half-Life: Alyx, which comes out today i.e. 23rd March.

While all players can purchase the above mentioned in-game items and apply them accordingly, users who purchased the Valve Index before the release of the game will be receiving something extra like a real-life version of the Alyx Pin from the new collection along with an exclusive music kit.
Half-Life: Alyx is a VR based game set after the events that take place in Half-Life 1 and before those that occur in Half-Life 2. Stuck between the two timelines, the players will be playing as the character of Alyx Vance.
Though the cross-over has not brought to light any of the things that were predicted by the community such as the addition of a new gun model, futuristic-looking half-life themed gloves, new character models, etc, it is still something and the players are more than happy to flaunt a few.
As Counter-Strike was initially a mod of the early version of the Half-Life game, the release of Alyx pays tribute to the success of the two titles, of how popular the two games are despite being more than a decade old, while also letting Valve make some money off this cross-over. that has been nothing short of pleasing for the CS:GO players.
